Tykkään siitä, että mun arjessa on jotain pikku luksusta. Ja kuten Wikipedia määrittelee, ”luxury goods are conducive to pleasure and comfort”. Mulle luksus ei juurikaan ole kallista eikä kimaltelevaa, vaan sellasta, joka saa arjen -ja elämän yleensäkin toimimaan. Mahdollisimman mukavalla ja miellyttävällä tasolla. Usein jopa ”parhaat asiat elämässä ovat ilmaisia”…
Mut otetaan nyt kuitenkin vaikka korkokengät 😉 Tykkään siitä, että kengät ovat hyvät jalassa ja olen valmis maksamaan siitä, ettei hyvä juhlapäivä mene pilalle tappavien kenkien vuoksi ja että nautin olostani. Mulle luksusta voisi olla vaikka Cittarin kahdenkympin korot, jolleivat ne olisi kovat muoviset käppyrät. Kuitenkin luksuksesta ja kengistä -eli luksuskengistä puhuttaessa monelle tulee ensimmäisenä mieleen Christian Louboutin, eikö tulekin (eikä cittari 😉)?
Kuinka moni haaveilee CL kengistä, mutta hinta tökkii? Tämä on omistettu teille: ne eivät ole juuri Cittaria paremmat.
Tai ainakin mun mielestä yli neljän sadan euron kengissä tulisi olla hyvä kävellä. Taivaallisen hyvä kävellä, itseasiassa yli kaksisataa kertaa parempi kävellä kuin Cittarin hinnoilla. Vai mitä järkeä on tehdä kengistä niin huonot (lue: liian korkeat, kapeat, kovat tai muuta kengän laatua heikentävää), että niiden käyttömukavuus kärsii? Pelkän ulkonäönkö takia? Silloin kyse ei enää ole luksuskengistä, mun mielestäni. Eikä muuten Coco Chanelinkaan mielestä.
Kesän juhla- ja korkokenkäkausi kuitenkin lähestyy, joten toivon kommenttilaatikkoon vinkkejä. Kaikilta, kaikille yhteiseksi. Kaikilta teiltä naisilta, jotka rakastatte vaikkapa Christian Louboutinia. Mitä te sinne kenkiin laitatte? 😉 (I know, olen maailman ainoa, jolle ne ei sovi.. Maatiasräpylä :’)) Kaikilta teiltä, jotka olette voittannet ongelmat korkojen kanssa. Menettekö te niiden kanssa saunaan pehmentymään? :)) Teiltä, joilla on antaa vinkkejä korkojen -tai minkä vaan kenkien käyttömukavuuden kanssa.
Vai onko teillä vain täydellisesti istuvat kengät? Mitkä, kertokaa!
Ps. Mulla on 😉 Italialaisen Laura Bellarivan korkeitakin korkoja kevään muotinäytöksessa kokeiltuani rakastuin täysin. Mitkä materiaalit ja mukavuus. En tiedä miten näitä on Suomessa saatavilla, mutta jos törmäätte, kokeilkaa. That’s a luxury shoe!
(Mun jalassa nyt oleva Bellariva -malli myytiin loppuun heti muotinäytöksen jälkeen, joten jouduin ostamaan omani Funky Ballerinasta.)

Pieni kommentti merkkikenkien puolesta….:-) Ei CL, mutta Jimmy Choon. Itsellani on oikein kunnon leveat ankkajalat ja yleensa en voi korkkareilla kavella kaauaakaan (esim Swedish Hasbeensit on aivan tuskalliset) mutta halusin ostaa heinakuisiin haihini vahan hienommat kengat ja taytyy sanoa etta nama hopeanvariset Jimmyt on aivan ihanat ja niin mukavat! Ja olen aivan samaa mielta, etta jos kengista maksaa 400? niin niiden taytyy todellakin olla mukavat jalassa, kestaa kaytossa ja olla upean nakoset! Perintokalleuksia!

Minna Parikat yhdistäisinkin johonkin tosi simppeliin vaatteeseen, ettei tulisi sellaista liian-paljon-kaikkea -vaikutelmaa (sellaistakin on kokeiltu).

Voi vide, miten paljon täällä olikin jo kommentteja! =) Mä olin tulossa tänne kehumaan Minna Parikan kengät maasta taivaisiin niin ulkonäön kuin mukavuudenkin suhteen, mutta ne ei sitten taidakaan sopia sun tyyliin kommentistasi päätellen. Mulla itselläni on kahdet Parikat, ja voi luoja miten IHANAT ne on! Toinen lempparimerkkini on Vagabond, tyylikkäitä kenkiä, jotka on vielä hyviä jalassa, me likey!
Mutta tämä postaus aiheutti nyt sellaisen lompakkoa koettelevan asian, että mun on nyt IHAN pakko saada Louboutinit…kun kerran niin moni sanoo, että ne on hyvät jalassa. Hihhihiii 😉 Osaatko sanoa vinkkinä olisko joku nettikauppa tms, josta voisi tilata, ettei hinta olisi ihan niin suolainen?

Tamaris on nykyisellään ihan huipputuote – ostin tälle kesälle jo kolmet, kun löytyi täydellinen avokas eri väreissä ja mun kantapää on yleensä avokkaille aivan mahdoton ts. eivät pysy jalassa. Aikaisemmin saksalaisten kenkämerkkien mallit on olleet niitä ”tätimäisiä”, mutta tänä vuonna on löytynyt Peter Kaiserilta ja Tamarikselta todella klassisen kauniita ja kuitenkin aikaan ja omaan ikään sopivia kenkiä.
