Kävin tänään pimeällä, sateessa vähän keskustan pikkukauppoja läpi. Pikkulahjojen toivossa.
Itsekseni hihitellen päivän tapahtumia. Ehkä se oli tarkoituskin. Siis työpaikan joululounaalla. Pomon tanssiessa zumbaa puku päällä. Tonttulakki päässä, jättikravaatti kaulassa ja jotkut hassut aurinkolasit päässä. Ehkä just siksi. Että me voitaisi illalla hihitellä itseksemme.
Pikkujutuilla sitä joskus voi saada joulumielen monelle kymmenelle. Tai no, ei se ollut pikkujuttu 😉
Arvatkaa mitä mun jouluostoksilla kävi. Voidaan ainakin todistaa että olen itsekäs ihminen. Ostin itselleni puisia sydämiä! Itseasiassa mun teki mieli kaikkea itselleni. Kuinka ollakaan 😉
Olen vähän sitä tyyppiä, joka ei suostuisi näihin nykyisen tavaranpaljouden aiheuttamiin ”ei osteta mitään lahjoja” -juttuihin, koska mun mielestä lahjat kuuluvat jouluun ja niitä on kiva antaa. Ensisijaisesti tietysti lähimmille. Lahjojen ei kuitenkaan tarvitse olla mitään kummallisia tai etenkään kalliita, vaan ihana, pitkäaikainen ilo saattaa olla esimerkiksi kauniilla paperilla päällystetty tavallista suurempi tulitikkurasia. -Kukapa ei tarvitse tammikuussakin kaunista tulitikkurasiaa, jota vielä kehtaa pitää esillä.
Toinen monivuotinen ilo joululahjaksi on itsetehdyt villasukat, yllä näkyypi mun tänhetkinen työpaja ;))
Ja jos jollekulle on erityisen hankalaa ostaa lahjoja, voi aina harkita Lahjaksi lehmää. Eli tukea Suomen World Visionin kehitysyhteistyötä ja ostaa tarpeellisia, kehitysmaiden lasten oloja parantavia lahjoja kuten terveystarkastuksen, vuohen, puuroa… Tai kirjalahjan! Kehitysmaiden lapsilla ei tavallisesti ole kunnon kirjoja lainkaan ja jokainen lapsena kirjoja lukenut tietää minkälainen merkitys ja vaikutus satukirjalla voi olla. Lahjaksi lehmä -nettikaupan joulu-uutuus on juuri kirjalahja, joka kartuttaa SriLankan ja Kenian syrjäseutujen lasten kirjavalikoimia.
Kirjoista puheenollen… Mun joulun mielenkiintoisin kirja olisi taitavan norjalaisen Linn Ulmanin uusin teos ”Det Dyrebare”
…Mutta suomennosta odotellessa voin suositella tutustumaan myös vanhempaan, kriitikoiden rakastamaan ”Kun olen luonasi (Når jeg er hos deg)” teokseen (2002).
