Niin Kalastajan vaimon kuin monen muunkin blogin liittyminen Indiedaysin alle on herättänyt keskustelua, johon en ihan kauheasti ole ottanut osaa. Paljon puhuttaneita aiheita ovat olleet kaupallisuus ja persoonallisuuden menettämnen. Tuotelahjat. Kutsutilaisuudet. Joitakin mainitakseni.
Itse Indiedayshan maksaa korvausta meille bloggaajille siitä hyvästä, että blogisivuillamme näkyy kulloinkin voimassa olevan yhteistyökumppanin mainoksia. Noin niinkuin karkeasti sanottuna. Siinä yksinkertaisuudessaan syy, miksi Kalastajan vaimokin siirtyi Indiedays -osoitteeseen. Ulkosuomalaiselle ”helpon rahan” lisäksi myös tilaisuus kuulua johonkin suomalaiseen blogiyhteisöön tuntui houkuttelevalta; etenkin kun kyseessä oli mun mielestä laadukkain, jo paljon hyviä blogeja sisältävä suomalainen portaali.
Viikonloppu ollaan syöty koko Norjan syysherkkua eli Får i Kålia, lammasta kaalissa.
En siis valinnut Indiedaysia saadakseni tuotelahjoja tai muutenkaan kaupallistaakseni blogiani sen enempää kuin nyt sivulla näkyvien mainosten myötä on pakko. Indiedays ei todellakaan lähetä mulle tuotelahjoja -ei ikävä kyllä edes sitä Octo-lamppua vaikka kuinka haluaisin ;).
Olisin voinut vastaanottaa tuotelahjoja myös ennen Indiedaysia ihan kuin nytkin -paitsi että nyt se on vielä vähän monimutkaisempaa, kun kaikki yhteistyökumppanit ja mainostajat joutuvat sopimusteknisistä syistä kulkemaan tuon Indiedaysin kautta. Lisäksi mainittakoon, ettei minua kiinnosta vastaanottaa tai testata juurikaan mitään. Kirjoitan blogia melko samoin motiivein kuin te luette; saan hirvittävasti energiaa ja hyvää mieltä tästä. Niin vuorovaikutuksen kuin itse ”luomisenkin” kautta. En yhtään minkään tavaroiden toivossa.

En oikeastaan halua ollenkaan ajatella Kalastajan vaimon olevan nyt ”ammattiblogi” ja näin ollen joutuvani muuttamaan linjaani tai miettimään minkälaisia postauksia voin tehdä. Se on mun mielestä ainoa keino tämän paljon puhutun persoonallisuuden säilyttämiseksi ja ennen kaikkea elintärkeää oman bloggausilon ja -motivaation kannalta. Jos mulla on haaveita (kuten uuteen kotiin luonnollisesti), haluan voida kertoa niistä ihan kuin entisenkin blogin puolella. Okei, joku kiukustuu, mutta niin kiukustui ennenvanhaankin 😉 Kaikki ei tykkää kaikista posteista. That’s it.

Jokaisella blogaajalla on varmaan myös joskus ollut tunne, että kaikkien muiden blogit ovat paljon parempia. Että mitä tässä nyt itse räpellyksineen edes vaivautuu.
Pienen blogin kirjoittaja miettii, että lukeeko tätä nyt edes kukaan. Kalastajan vaimon kokoisen blogin kirjoittaja miettii onko blogi liian iso, menettänyt sen pienen söpön persoonallisuutensa ja muuttunut massablogiksi.
Mun mielestä Kalastajan vaimo ei ole menettänyt persoonallisuuttaan eikä muuttunut massablogiksi. Vaikka siitä on tullut valtaisa. Tiedättekö miksi? Koska sillä on teidät. Sillä on persoonalliset, vuosiakin mukana pysyneet lukijat ja persoonallinen kommenttiboksi. Sillä on paljon sellaista mukavuutta ja lämminhenkisyyttä, jota pelkkä blogi tai bloggaaja eivät yksin voi saada aikaiseksi.
Siksikin ajattelin olevani velkaa pienen selvityksen uudesta Indiedays -hommelista kun siitä niin mukavasti on kyselty ja selvitystä toivottu 🙂 Saapi kysyä vieläkin jos jäi epäselvää 🙂
