Heloy! Te ette usko miten paljon meillä on ollut tekemistä täällä… muutama tunti iltapäivisin vapaa-aikaa ja se me ollaan urheasti käytetty omatoimisesti shoppaillen. Iltaisin espanjalaisilla ei (tunnetusti) ole kovin aikaisin tapana tulla kotikoloihinsa, vaan illallista on syöty yli suomalaisen nukkumaanmenoajan. Ei täällä vaan malta lepäillä hotellilla, kaupungilla tuntuu olevan loputtomasti annettavaa…
Jo pelkkä arkkitehtuuri on -kuten näette sanoinkuvaamattoman hienoa. Kaikki on niin suurta, jykevää, historiallista ja… hienoa.
Tai söpöä, houkuttelevaa ja viehättävää 😉 Ihania nää pikkuparvekkeet, joita on kaikkialla talojen seinät täynnä, siisteissä koristeellisessa riveissä.
Madrid… Mitäköhän siitä sanoisin… Millainen se mun mielestä ois? Ikimuistoinen. Tottakai yli kuuden miljoonan asukkaan kaupunki, Espanjan pääkaupunki on suuri, mutta Madrid on suuri muutenkin kuin fyysisesti. Sillä tuntuu olevan loputtomasti annettavaa ja sanottavaa. Ymmärrän siltikin miksi yksi oppaistamme luonnehti Madridia ”pikku kyläksi”. Vaikka Madrid on historiallisesti merkittävä arvokkuutta huokuva metropoli, jolla on yksi Euroopan arvostetuimmista yliopistoista, on täällä helppo tuntea olonsa kotoisaksi.
Yksi niistä harvoista kohteista, joissa tulee miettineeksi, että miksen minä asu täällä. Valitsinko tosiaan mieluummin norjalaisen pikkukylän kuin tämän? 😉
Madrid on ollut siis valtavan antoisa matkakohde ja seura hyvää vaan pian koittaapi se reissun paras vaihe eli kotiinpaluu ❤
